okay, so madonna plays the guitar now.
i have been struggling not to be so floored by this new phenomenon, the whole 'Pop Icon As Competent Instrumentalist' gambit. i see alicia keys dutifully plodding through a piano melody katherine hepburn could probably have played just as well, or...well, i cant think of any more examples besides the partidge family and i guess that kind of indicates that the phenomenon isn't really new at all, but still. it's too weird for me to handle.
